Manned Camera specialises in offering a Manned Camera wet hire service: highly experienced crew members prepare our equipment at our test and prep premises in SE London, and accompany it on all kinds of productions, all over the world. In the UK and Europe we can also supply our equipment in dedicated unit vehicles, with everything you need onboard to support the camera department on location.
We stock only the very best industry standard equipment, from Arri cameras, a huge range of cinema lenses (from Angenieux to Zeiss), to Ronford Baker grip equipment, all accompanied by everything needed to get the very best image from it.
Everything we stock is rigorously maintained in house to ensure it is always ready for anything, and for those who need something we don’t have on our shelves, we can also cross-hire equipment at competitive rates using our long-established relationships across the industry.
From advertising to feature films, we can offer significantly reduced rental rates on shoots accompanied by our crew members. We’re always happy to meet our peers in the industry, and would love to welcome you to our test and prep rooms for a coffee.

We welcome all our peers and collaborators in the industry to use our testing space as part of their creative process when beginning a project: be that just coming to meet us to discuss the first steps in using our service, right through to testing our various lenses to inform creative choices, and on occasion, ultimately shooting pickups after principle photography has finished!

If this is your first hire from us, we will require the following:
- Completed company or sole trader account application
- Acceptance of our terms & conditions
- Payment in advance of equipment delivery
- For sole traders: proof of identity and address (a current utility bill, bank statement or council tax bill – dated within the previous three months); photographic identification (passport, driving licence or national identity card)
INSURANCE
We will need proof of appropriate “hired in” technical equipment insurance. The policy needs to have a sum insured equal to or greater than equipment replacement value shown in your finalised estimate, and be in force for all prep, travel, shoot and de-rig days.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Completing our account application will require acceptance of our Terms & Conditions of Hire.
